IE6 and the Ctrl-Enter feature

if you never knew about this, there is a Ctrl-Enter feature in internet explorer. if you type CNN and hit ctrl-enter it will take you to www.cnn.com for example. in my computer, it got disabled and it doesnt work anymore, i tried reinstalling IE6 but no good, how can i fix it.

anyone PLEASE I BEG OF U TO TELL ME! its been hell typing www. (allmytrash).com ever time !!

It's a shame it only works for Dot com's.... :(
I live in Australia and I would like it to work more personalised... like .com.au

i dont know for sure but i believe that that feature was taken out od IE6 :( sucks, dont it?

Go into your Internet Options. Hit the CONTENT tab. Where it says PERSONAL INFORMATION clck AUTO COMPLETE. Check to see if there is a checkmark in WEB ADDRESSES. If there is not a checkmark there then you will not be able to use the control-enter feature in Internet Explore to complete the rest of the address. Put a checkmark in if necessary.

BTW. Yes, this option still does work in the latest version of Internet Explorer 6.
