I just recently switched to xp I am having a problem with the back button. When I was running w2k and IE5 I never had this problem.
On with the details. The only place I am seeming to have this problem is here in the forums. I have several of the Ad servers in my ghosts file. I noticed when I was here in the forums that I had to click the back button 2 sometimes 3 times before the page would go back. Finally I checked the back button list and it shows the ads.whatever.com as the last page then the forum page is just before that.
I thought I read somewhere that the request is timing out and causing this. They went on to say to have a page locally and have it load in its place. The funny thing is that I will go to other pages and the ads will be blocked and not have this problem at all.
How do i set this up or is there another way to get around this?
