OK, all i want to do is disable an IE 'feature' which automatically minimizes the Favorites dropdown menu (eliminates folders which have not 'recently' been used)....but can't FOR THE LIFE OF ME find where to disable. And the help menu is absolutely no use. Arrrrrrrgh!!! Why do they have to add so many ANNOYING features - don't they test for usability??????

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out - I'm sure it's a SIMPLE fix and I'm just too frustrated to see it.

Firefox 😛 /puts on flame suit

In all seriousness, do consider switching. IE is such a piece of junk. You probably wouldn't realize it until you start developing webpages for it.

You might be looking for the "personalized menu" choice in XP and 2k....right click the task bar, properties, start menu tab, customize, and uncheck use personalized menus. That might be it.

Screwed3d, your just trying to start a fight! (just kidding) I like IE, tried firefox, didnt like the way it felt. Personal preference.
