IE won't load certain forums

my IE won't load certain website forum boards. I have no clue why, it just doesn't load for some reason, and it started happening today only! Before it worked perfectly fine. I am using Firefox for now, but please don't recommend me switching to firefox for a solution because I already have it on my PC in case IE turns to garbage, which in the past few years, it has not.

an example is when going to the Oblivion forums at elderscrolls.com it doesn't load into IE, but loaded perfectly fine in the past.

any solutions?



 
Problem with many different boards, or just this one? Did you turn off scripting? Disable cookies? Are you running through a proxy server? You might have some adware trying to redirect your connection.

it's odd, the day before yesterday and beyond, IE was working perfectly fine. I ran anti-spyware programs to detect spyware, and erased all that I found, but IE was still messing up.

This forum works fine on IE, but others don't.

I'm thinking about just reformatting my PC, because I noticed another problem with Oblivion not working.

lol, I was wanting to backup some of my files anyway, but my oblivion game won't work at all, and won't install, so another reason to reformat.

by the way I'm not an IE fanboy. I just prefer to use it because it's so simple and easy. I can't ask for more. I have Firefox as a backup.
 
alright so I reformatted, and now everything seems to be working fine. I think I might've gotten a virus or trojan, but didn't want to wait for days searching for answers, so I decided to reformat.
