running IE8 and when I go to close a tab it takes a very long time for the tab to close or the IE window to close. The length of time till it closes is longer the longer I use the machine- when I first start out everything works as it should but gradually I get to the point where I need to restart to avoid going crazy. any ideas?

That is normal with all browsers the more you use them and the longer you keep them open. You just have to get use to it.

8gb ram. new sb build with win7 pro. same thing happened with my old XP machine though...I thought the new machine would be able to cope with this "feature"
