IE status bar turning off

Anybody know about the IE Status Bar turning itself off everytime I close and reopen IE or click on a link? Probably somekind of spyware, but AdAware comes out clean.
Any ideas?

I had that happen too, it depends on how you close IE. What i do is turn it on then go to File -> close then it will say there

try downloading spybot (download.com) and see if it finds anything
