IE Shortcut problem

As you all know,you can type a word in the Address bar and press Ctrl-
Enter to automatically add http://www and .com on both sides of the word.
For some reason, I have lost this capability. Restoring original (i.e.
MS,prior to 10/25/00)settings and/or reseting default search and
autosearch settings have not resolved the issue either.

Any solutions?

Open your Internet options. Click on the Advanced tab and look under the section Browsing. There's a little checkbox that you can select - it's about Autocomplete (Use inline Autocomplete for Web addresses or something like that). Hopefully if you select that then everything will work fine.
