IE seems to be crashing alot more in XP then 2k. Anyone else?

I was running 2k for quite some time, but I decided to bite the bullet and install XP. I just upgraded the 2k files with XP rather then a clean install. I noticed that IE would crash alot more in XP (almost non-existant in 2k) What it would do is have the busy cursor on the pointer, and nothing will load, forcing me to shutdown IE manually. And after I did a clean install, the same problem was present. IE would crash 3-10 times a day. While in 2k IE crashed maybe once every month Is it something with IE6? Or just XP in general? Anyone else experiencing the same thing?
