IE security issue

I guess even us "experienced" users could be tricked by a scam thanks to this bug... although anyone who really cares about security uses Mozilla anyway .

Yeah, the great part is, yesterday they pushed out a patch . (My machine was one that got patched yesterday)

but couldnt find any IE patches since october.
anybody gotta link to a newer patch or whats the fix (besides firebird) ?

ps - i went to the secunia website following CTho link, but their solution wasnt real helpful:

Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a proxy server or firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
Don't follow links from untrusted sources. "

But it's the only current solution since there's no patch from MS.

well of course im using firebird right now, and security is why
