IE saving JPG pictures as BMP pictures?

All of a sudden, Internet Explorer has started saving JPG pictures as BMP pictures... I have experienced this before on different versions of Windows...

Anyone know how to fix it?

It's a well-known bug in IE 5.x. Your options include: repairing, reinstalling and upgrading to a newer version (or older version, if you want ).

Or you can use a browser like Netscape 6.1, Opera and Mozilla

Do you know how I would repair it?

There's an option somewhere to repair IE (IE >4, I think). Don't ask me where to find it, I hardly use IE

OK I found the answer in the KB... Just delete the internet cache...
