IE Problems

I have IE 6 and all current updates installed, however, just recently when I would try to click on one of my favorites, the image on the screen would freeze but the page would be loaded. Like the address would be in the box, but i would still be looking at the original page. The favorites box would also stay open, even if the 'x' was clicked. Another problem that just happened was if a hyperlink required a new window to load, it wouldnt show. A new window would pop up, but IE would never get there.

Do I have some virus or spyware?
I run both Spybot and Adaware.

i have the same crap happen with me and i was starting to think it was windows xp because thats the only os it happens to me on :| i dont think you have spyware or a virus because i have the same exact issues and im spyware and virus free....
