IE problems...

Every once in awhile after my PC has been running for a bit, I'll be using IE and when I click on a link that calls up a new browser window it just locks that window up completely and I can't wait it out or exit without close it in task manager. I have to reboot for it to "cure" this problem, and it's getting very annoying.

I've never had this happen before, using IE6 with all windows/IE update packs, using XP pro. This also happens with MyIE2.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? perhaps some scripting errors? I'm sick of having to reboot every so often for this crap.

And no i'm not switching to mozilla/firebird/opera/etc, i like IE 🙂

well sounds like your computer is dying. it's prolly a hardware problem cause it you posted in the hardware forums.

i'd dl a second browser and see it times out too. and myie2 doesn't count as a second browser.
