IE open/save file Woes

I accidentally unchecked the:

"Always ask before opening this type of file"

of the dowload file dialogue box that pops up when I clicked on a link to a .doc file. Now whenever I click on a .doc link, it opens straight in IE with no questions asked. Anyone know how to restore the dialogue box?

Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer!) and go to Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types. Browse down to DOC files and click Advance. There should be a checkbox that says Confirm Open Before Download. Check it.

not sure if this will help, but try ....
WINDOWS explorer > tools > options > file types > DOC > advanced > confirm open after download

if not, ummm....
start > setting > control panel > add/remove program > MSIE > repair msie?
(kinda doubtful)
