IE No Longer follows FTP links

[Crisis]

A bit ago I installed Cuteftp 4.x, big mistake, it took over all ftp links on web pages in IE. I uninstalled Cuteftp, but not when i click on an ftp link on a web page, IE doesnt do anything. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it back, and its frustrating manually ftping to get the downloads. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

just a blind shooting here....
have you tried repairing msie?
start -> setting -> control panel -> add/remove program -> ie -> repair ie

also, another thing i'm not so sure would help is to look at tools -> option -> advanced -> enable folder view on ftp sites

sorry all those are blind shoots .... haven't had this problem before, that's why ....
