IE homepage pr0n help

I was uh looking at some racy websites the other night. I was installing a new game today and I had to restart the computer. Well now my homepage is set to a porn website. I changed it back but everytime I restart the computer it resets it to that damn porn site. Any of you guy wanna help me out?

1st Off What OS...... 2ndly There is probably a TSR running int he backround that is changeing it at boot & if you disable it it will probably resolve your issue...

That's what happens when you perfunctorily click OK for every popup box you see.

Win98 huh?

Go to the run menu and type in "msconfig". Look under the startup tab at the top.

Look for anything suspicious - let us know whats under the start up.

TSR is a Term Used at my work for the Programs that run in the backround....

Here's how you can test..

Change your homepage
Click Start, Than Run
Type msconfig
choose selective startup
uncheck load startup group items
hit apply & OK
reboot when prompted

If it still changed your homepage than it's not one of these apps, if your homepage diddnt change than run msconfig again & go the the startup tab & selective turn on the ones you want & Dont turn on anything that sounds like porm.....
