IE homepage forwards to about:blank

Ok lets see. I have a computer that forwards to about:blank. When I type the address in like www.yahoo.com it does not work either. I can, however, type the IP address and things are fine.
The homepage in IE is not set and does not get set to about:blank. And in the status bar it starts and says it is downloading, but then gets redirected to about:blank.

I have run malwarebytes, spyware S&D, and cwshredder..and nothing has changed. None of them have found too many bad things.


Any help or suggestions?
