IE freezing problem.

Sometimes when I open up a new IE window by clicking on a link the new window freezes or stops responding after a few seconds. Then when I try to close it using the task manager or even manually, the end program thing comes up(i'm using win xp) n when I clk on end now the frozen window along with all the other browser windows closes down. HELP!
