IE extremely slow, Mozilla has good speed, is that a virus?

Hi, Guys,

I am running Windows 2000, and get access to Internet with Comcast Cable Internet. Recently my IE 6.0 is extremely slow, no matter what web site I am connecting to, but the speed is still very good for Mozilla. I have scanned using Norton, but didn't find any virus ( I have already updated the Norton virus database). Is that a virus? or some other reason? Thanks!

He said he updated Norton and it didn't find anything...

I would Run Ad-Aware along with Windows Update, see if it solves something..

Also, clear out your TIF ( temp. Internet files ) and clear your history.
