On my Internet Explorer, the title bar has previous information i dont not want. The title bar looks something like this" internet explorer - comcast.net -strato net". My previous service provider was stratonet. So i would like to remover the strato net from the title bar.

btw i have tried changes the string value of Window Title in the registry and that didnt help

[Start] [Run] [Regedit]
Registry Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Modify/Create the Value Name [Window Title] according to the Value Data listed below.
Data Type: REG_SZ [String Value] // Value Name: Window Title
Value Data: [Enter The Text Desired In Title Bar]
Exit Registry and Reboot

Try fixing it with HijackThis.
Download it from here
It is self-executing and will install in its own folder in Program Files.

Open it and click System Scan Only. You should see stratonet as an R0 and maybe also as an R1. Place a checkmark next to all of the stratonet entries and click 'Fix Checked'.

Reboot your computer.

Hopefully, that will do it.
