I am suddenly having problems with my computer. I think my registry may have gotten corrupted, but I'm not sure. Anyway, when I load up IE (5.5), I can load my homepage. If I click on links, it works. I can visit my favoites. If I try to manually enter in a URL, though, IE locks up. I cant load up Windows Media Player, either by loading it by itself, or by clicking on an MP3. Can I either get some help on what to do, or a link to download IE and WMP and try reinstalling?

Hmm - you tried re-installing windoze over itself? That may help you ... :D.

Go HERE for WMP.

And go HERE for IE.

All from M$'s site and can be found via a simple search from microsoft.com :D.

Hope this helps :).

Well, I've got it back up and its working... for now. I had to clear my BIOS, and then underclock my POS (down to 166)to get it running... I know, and I am ashamed of the underclocking. Thanks.
