IE and Firefox question

I recently installed IE 7 and I really like the way the font looks. Anyone know what the font is so I can change it on firefox as well?

ClearType is set up in Windows XP, and applies to ALL applications being run - not just Windows itself or IE7. It applies just as well to Firefox.

I finally got my Firefox fonts to look as good as IE7, but it takes trial and error in selecting fonts and sizes. Firefox does not "see" the same fonts as does IE7 or other Windows apps. Anyone know why this is?

Are you sure IE7 is not overriding fonts on web pages with its own fonts? Is there a particular page that you are testing this on?

I didnt know that a program could use cleartype on its own without the OS being setup for it.

Well, don't know about the technical issues, but I wasn't aware of ClearType till I installed IE 7. IE 7 enables ClearType by default I think, but this did not affect any other program. So I went back and investigated and then turned activated ClearType via Micosoft's web page.
