IE adds .net to everything

Everytime I enter a web address or IP address in browser cannot find error. IE is adding .net to evreything. Any ideas? So it would show www.anandtech.com.net, result = not found

Sounds like the URL default prefix entry in the registry is b0rked. Try merging this.
