IE 6 locks up

IE 6 keeps locking up on me. I was going to uninstall and then reinstall it, but I have XP and Microsoft doesn't see fit that I should be able to do that. So any suggestions to fix IE?
 
You may want try this little fix.

IE 6 Fix/Patch

Don't worry about the it showing Win98. It works with all Windows versions.

What it does is restores all the files that I.E. 6 overwrote.
It will ask you if you want to overwrite the newer files you have.
Say yes to each one.
