IE 6 issue

In IE 6, the load progress bar at the bottom of the window is absent 95 % of the time. Is there any way to make it stay permanently on the screen? U see, I find it nice to see how much of the page that has been loaded.
 
Sure . . . in IE6, go to the upper menu bar and select VIEW. Then make sure that the Status Bar is checked. That should fix it.
