IE 6 in XP download trouble

Never seen this happen before. My Wife installed Go!Zilla, and of course I removed it, and now IE doesn't have a default download manager. I made sure that downloads were enabled, and even added some registry DWORD strings to try to get it back, but still no luck. I removed the strings in the registry also that were incorperated with Go!Zilla. Any idea how to get this back? (Not Go!Zilla, just the default IE DL manager)

Have you tried just using the system restore feature to revert the system to a date before Go!Zilla was even installed on the system? I should think that would resolve the present issue.

I do all my downloading on my Linux boxes, and just noticed the problem 2 monthes after I removed it. I guess I'll *ack* reinstall Go!Zilla, and then remove again. I think it probably uninstalled in a bad way. 😛

Well, so much for that idea. In Go!Zilla's Smart Explorer, it uses my IE Download Manager, but IE will not. I can't seem to find the registry string that this option resides in. Oh well, bacl to the registry editor, and anyone who asks, I've tried uninstalling, and reinstalling several times. 😛
