IE 6 display aggravation help

I use Win98, fast system
Trouble is every now and then,
(always when I need a full display)
the browser only displays text with empty
pictures. I think I've tried everything,
reinstall, check settings etc.
btw, the problem was also there when I used IE 5 also.

Ideas anyone?

Any version of IE on a Windows 9x version is guaranteed to be flaky (as it anything else on Windows 9x/ME). IE on Windows 2000 crashes occasionally, but not nearly as bad as it does in Windows 9x. I've never had any problems with Mozilla 1.1 stable. 🙂
 
Flaky is a good way to put it. It does crash now and then also. I thought someone might know more than me(which is normal).
