I'm considering switchin from IE 6.0 to Netscape 7.0 if its good. What are some pros and cons compared with the two?

Netscape has gotten a little better, but you're proabably better off with IE 6.0

I prefer Netscape 6.x.x over Netscape 7.xx.

I prefer anything over IE.

I currently use Mozilla. Netscape is still kick ass though!

Why not use Mozilla? All NS7 is is a bloated version of Mozilla 1.0.1, with pop-up removing removed.

I hate netscape. I use IE 6, but I've got Opera too. Its pretty nice, but I dunno, I just like IE better, feels faster. Haven't tried Mozilla yet, might one of these days.

cause tabbed browsing, ad blocking, and a pop up stoppers aren't built inot IE :).

anyway Netscape sucks just us Mozilla. Its the samething without the bloat and AOL BS.

OH... forgot to say that I was using the Netscape 7 beta before it was officially released. It blew then, and it's only refined it's skills.

gopunk, I would advise you to read more carefully what NetworkDad wrote. Yes there is an actual logical reason why I wrote what I did.
NetworkDad mentioned some gibberish as to why Netscape sucked (Netscape incompatible in windows? Give me a break, it works quite well thank you)
This is basically something Microsoft would send as FUD to people who don't have the "wisdom" (as politely as I can put it) to check it out themselves.
And what do you call people who listen to hearsay without question and follow the "pack"?

Regarding the ones who goes against the "grain" as you call it....maybe we know something you don't want to see for yourself?

The main reason I prefer IE over Mozilla/Netscape is because I can make the tool bar more to my liking.

I've tried various releases of Netscape (beta and full) and all have resulted in funky pages and/or crashes. To be honest, I see no reason to switch from IE. I'm a lemming, clone, drone. Whatever, I don't care.

And I prefer Mozilla over IE because of tabbed browsing and built-in popup blockage. I could care less about the toolbar, as once I've put my most commonly used bookmarks up there I pretty much don't modify it any further.
