ie 5.01 sp2 error (generally with forms)

I first noticed this when entering something to search for on google, as soon as I hit enter, or click the button it pops up the following error message:

I'm not sure exactly when this started, but within the last week I had to restore the registry to an earlier date, I've already attempted a search via ms knowledge base, and google, only leads I had dealt with incompatabilities with software that I don't even have.

Some help would be nice, if you have any ideas.

I'd suggest upgrading to IE6.

Figures I'd get an answer along those lines - I remember hearing some general bad things about ie6 when it first came out.
