IE 2 minutes to load up....

I know some one from school she is saying that it takes @2 minutes for IE to load up all the time, when she uses Netscape loads up quickly..... any ideas.

Do you know if they have tried clearing their Temporary Internet Files?

No, I do not. She said she had uninstalled IE 6 and then installed 5.5, same prob. went to 6.0 same problem and did that several times over. She used some sort of program that uninstalls IE.

well have a look at that nice web site . . www.lavasoft.de . . . try to run ad-aware worth the risk...

cleans the registry for you and hard drive too..

reason:when you install some programs they usually install some spy programs in the backgroud....
I found ftpapp in mine..when you run ie or explorer it tries to connect to a specific web site ...and you wait to get connected and then the ie opens....
