IE 11 on windows 10 and the Syfy channel show The Expanse

I'm trying to watch the online episodes of the Expanse and each time I use IE 11 and it goes to the star wars commercial it will cause the browser window to lock up. I switched to FF 43 and it doesn't have an issue when it gets to the same commercials. Am I alone in this or is anyone else seeing the same issue playing back streaming content with IE 11 and windows 10? Thanks for your reply.

Seems to work for me, don't have time now to watch, but I was able to play about 6 different commercials clicking through the show (no star wars one). Is there some reason you need to use IE11? It is no longer being actively worked on AFAIK, just security patches, I suspect more and more sites will no longer work with it as time goes on.

It works in FF, use that...

Or use Edge

or use the Syfy App.

I just tried to view it and got this:

Sorry, our video streaming requires an up to date Flash plugin On a computer or laptop, try updating Adobe Flash
If you're on a tablet or mobile device, we apologize, our native app is coming soon.

IE and Firefox use totally separate versions of the Adobe Flash plugin. Sounds like you need to update or reinstall Flash for IE.

When I go to adobes site and use the test function it returns this message: Flash Player is integrated with Internet Explorer in Windows 10. You do not need to install Flash Player. Since it's built into 10 I can't use the standalone installer with IE and only updates through WU. My FF has the latest version which works just fine.
