Once IE 10 is installed,
Can it be removed and go back to IE9?
The windows update list on my pc shows !E 10 for me to install if I choose to do so.

Update

I have 2 computers A laptop and desktop. The desktop was running and I was listening to music. I had a few things to do and left the room. A hour later I came back to the desktop and it was sitting there ready to log on. ??? I logged on and windows did the auto update and,,, installed IE10.
I opened the installed updates and se IE 10 there.
I hesitate to uninstall it until I know 100% that IE will roll back to IE 9.

Generally, yes. There is an option I believe to remove the "backup" files so that the rollback is less possible, but automated installations such as that are generally reversible.

I had a glitch when uninstalling the preview version of IE10 on my Win7 system. After doing so, Gmail's site began plaguing me with "It looks like you are using Compatibility Mode. Gmail works best if you turn this off" and it refused to go away.

I deployed the IE 10 blocker on my systems. Do not want it without explicitly requesting it.

I think you can roll back seeing as its an update, but IE10 is a nice browser. Its a decent update.

I updated to IE10 last week. I just looked and it is available to uninstall in the Installed Updates menu. Shouldn't be a problem.
