IE 10 problem...Anyone seen this?

Someone in my office is having problems with IE 10. They don't use it often, but this is an annoying issue. If they start IE and maximize the window, it goes into full screen mode and the File menu goes away at the top of the screen. Once it's maximized, anytime you open it, it defaults to maximized...so then you never see the menu options, etc.

F11 won't exit out unless I click around the screen and hit escape a few times. Then it finally registers.

Anyone know what would cause this? The system is on a domain and I have the same group policy, so I know it's something specific to this one system.

Thanks-

Not that I'm much help, anytime someone has an issue like that, I switch up to IE11. By now whatever website forced you to stay on version 10 originally, likely has been updated and is now compatible.

Exit from anything in any version of Windows with Alt-F4. Keep it up and it will shut down. 🙂

Get IE11. And in View options, select Menu Bar n the Toolbar list.

If the Menu Bar is not showing, press ALT and it should pop up. Then go to VIEW and c heck it for permanent display.
