idx Files Out the Wahzoo in My Documents Folder

I was looking for something in my My Documents folder when I saw probably hundreds of files with an idx extention- I couldn't get everything in the screenshot.. They weren't there yesterday. Not shown in the picture, but there are 4 video files only 3kb in size along with them.

Going to run my antivirus, but in the mean time, is anyone familiar with these?

 
I think I solved my own problem. After some research, it seems these files are associated with databases. Then the light bulb went off. I created some sort of database with Nero 7 the last time I used it.
