I cleaned out the carb on my motorcycle and the varnish from old fuel made the screw fit fairly tight. However after I cleaned it with b-12 carb cleaner the idle screw is so loose the vibration makes it turn counter clockwise freely. Now what can I add to the threads of the screw to make stick better but not dirty up or clog the carburetor.

There's usually a spring around the screw that keeps things from backing out.

If that doesn't work try a single drop of loc-tite (don't remove the screw, just back it out and place a drop then screw back in)

DO NOT USE PERMANENT LOC-TITE. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even use blue. I believe green is the least strong, and that's what I'd use.
