Idle @ 52 degress C...too high??

I just got a new 1.2ghz T-bird today. I've got it clocked at 1.4 @148FSB. My idle temp is about 52 degrees C. Load about 59 degrees. On my previous 1ghz t-bird @ 1.24ghz I was getting about 45 degress idle, 52 load. My case setup hasn't changed at all, just the CPU. I know this temp is kinda high, but is this just about normal for a 1.4ghz T-bird? Also it is really hot outside in Ohio now...95degrees F. So my ambient temp is up to about 80 degrees right now. Should add more cooling?

well I'm pretty sure I had it thin enough. I'm going to go ahead and try reapplying the AS to see if that will help. It's running stable..I just finished running sandra burn-in for about 8 hours no problem.

Well I guess I had too much AS. I just redid it with a super paper thin layer on it and idle temp is now 47-48 degrees. Still not as low as I wish but at least it's not over 50...I get nervous then.

Thanks pay
