Idiot question about ram

Matched sticks are 'guaranteed' to work in dual channel boards. It usually isn't worth the expense unless you're really particular about it.
 
thanks. that's what i thought. i was planning on buying another stick of the same brand memory i'm using now for dual channel. hopefully it works alright.
