When you cool off send him a reply stating that you undersand that he does not now want the items that he commited to buying via a legally binding contract. You will:

1) File a non-paying bidder report to Ebay for the auction(s) he won AND
2) You will have to leave negative feedback because HE committed to buying the items and HE abrogated the contract.

Yes, and when you file a NPB claim, eventually Ebay will credit your account for the Final Value fee you were charged for the auction. I think it takes 8 days.
