Idiot Monitor, or stupid video card?

Ok, my computer went crazy. I left it on while i went into the shower, and when i came back, it was GOING CRAZY! The screen was flash a whole bunch of different colors. Before that, My montor was acting funny, at it looked like its refresh rate went down everytime i moved my mouse, so is which is being an ass? My monitor or my card?

You sure like to insult your computer parts. It could be either. The obvious would be to try a different monitor on your PC and try your video card in a different PC.

Lol for the record I didn't type that, my friend did. He still can't seem to get his pc working.
