I wanted to do a few before and afters of stock paste vs CLU replacement of the TIM.

I did a few game benches with it overclocked a we bit, everything went smooth as you'd except so then I took the card out and removed the backplate screws but then... There are 3 more located under the actual heat sink, which I can't reach because of the heatsink... So I started looking at the outside part with the fans and I can't figure out how exactly I'm supposed to remove it...

EDIT: Scratch that - looks like the fan shroud is screwed into the heatsink?

GL, how long you figure till we can see some Heaven and Valley score's from your card oc? :)

They used to have a plate covering the PCB which didn't need to be removed to change GPU TIM. They did away with plate, opting for board components contacting the heatsink via thermal pads. Less than perfect contact patch is possible if using the same thermal pads. For that reason, I'd not bother with TIM replacement.
