Hi all,

I was recently pickpocketed in Rome and I have all my credit cards canceled and stuff but I might have had an insurance card with my SS on there as well as driver's license so its pretty much all my personal info.

I was wondering what I can do to prevent Identity theft at this point?

Serious replies please.

don't say "don't get pickpocketed or don't bring important documents"

You can call the 3 credit agencies and have fraud alert put onto your credit record. What will happen is if someone applies for credit the credit card company will see this and they can only approve you by calling you at your home phone #.
