I don't know how many of you guys would think this is a good deal but I saw this and ordered it for myself - I used to have the Experian 3-in-1 but this beats it hands down - I was able to see my scores from all 3 bureaus immediately and it costs less too! I usually like to check my credit report once a quarter at myfico.com, so this Costco deal ends up being pretty sweet for someone like me. Thanks OP!

It might should be but it isn't.

Right now, the only thing thats free is one check per year of your credit report (which, if you split it between the 3 companies, that means essentially 3 free a year).
Most of the rest of the stuff that costco is offering isn't free. For instance, its pretty rare to get insurance free

Personally I dont think I'll do this since I'm not that paranoid about it, I think a credit check every few months is enough. But for some people, this is a good choice.

BTW, paypal introduced a new free service, they will email you if your credit changes, and a couple other small things.

Also if you apply for an American Express Clear they offer you 1 free credit report + scores every year.
On top of that there's also the 1% reward in the form of a $25 shopping card per $2500 expenditure.
