Identifying the chips on my ram

I have 2 x 256 meg dimms of corsair xms 3500 ver 1.1 (black heatspreaders). I'd be interested to know if they use the winbond bh-5 chips. Is there anyway other than removing the heatspreaders to check? How difficult are they to remove?
