This might be a stupid question for u guys, but how can i find the type of ram on my graphics card... 9700 pro readboard built by ati. Thanks

how did you identify that? and is 2.8 the fastest? sorry im pretty noob with this stuff, obviously. THanks

The GC2A is the latency. You can search around to find the speed for ram. I'm not particularly familiar with the ram that they put on 9700's, but 2.8ns isn't bad at all. It's rated for 357mhz.

Ahh thanks guys, just checked samsungs website, looks like its rated for 350, and ive seen on some forums at 375 no artifacts. Would it be reccomended for ram sinks? Or can the ram run a little more conservative without the sinks? thanks

It's public knowledge that Samsung is a little conservative with their memory timings.
