How is that a graphic picture? If you'd opened it up or skinned it, then maybe...

Keep in mind if you do, don't tear the intestines. They stink, really bad.

This is useful information. Thank you sir I will remember this.

Note to self: don't open mouse intestines.

That is definitely a mouse.

They are known for eating cheese and getting stuck in mouse traps.

I think almost any species of mouse can be a carrier though some are probably more likely than others. Wiki suggests that rats can be carriers too.

Open it up anyways to see if he's right. Post your findings in here too.
To be honest, you don't need to pierce the intestine to have it smell bad. Just stick your nose in there and get a good whiff. I can't remember much from my dissection. Didn't know enough about human anatomy then to exactly compare and contrast. But I remember I got a female. And our tutor got a male, and she was freaking us all out by tugging on the vas deferens and saying, "Ooh, would you look at that! You can see the balls move up and down! Isn't this so cool?" Half the guys within earshot turned completely white.

It's not a deer mouse (they have white chests). Not sure what other mice carry the virus.
