What the heck is this? Strange power connector coming out of that Antec 350W power supply.

Is it for the motherboard or some kind of weird floppy/hard drive?
 
Yup, I've seen many Pentium systems with this connector (as well as the smaller square 4 pin one). I believe it has something to do with the throttle down mode when the processor overheats.
