Can anyone identify this component for me

I'm pretty sure it's a diode. The one I have no longer looks like this, I have fried it with a dodgy power supply and want to try and replace it. The only problem is I have tried searching for "diode" with these numbers and turned up nothing. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Does it look like this?

If so, the part number for the diode is B14A, and a manufacturer's part number would probably be longer and include the B14 designation. If that's the part, it's a surface mounted diode which may mean finding single piece would be more difficult than finding them in bulk. For example, DigiKey has them on in bulk quantities. They cost around $0.10 each in quantities of 2,500 - 5,000 pcs.

One manufacturer is On Semiconductor. Their full part number is 1SMB14A, and it's listed as a Zener Transient Voltage Suppressor. If you can't find a vendor who can provide small quantities, it may be easier to request a couple of pieces from them as samples.

Hope that helps. 🙂

I suspect CH01 is the part number on the schematic and/or silkscreened on the board.

Hi just wanted to thank you both for your responses to my question back in November. I put this whole thing on a back burner as I had things to deal with at work and at home then Christmas happened, really appreciate your help.
