I am going to have in my possession two i7 2600k CPU's very soon. One is for me and one is for my brother. I want to keep the one that has better overclocking potential (either by way of hitting higher clocks or being a few degrees cooler at an equal overclocked setting) and give the other one to him.
Without running 4 hours+ of stress testing for each CPU, generally speaking (and assuming all other things being equal), when comparing two identical model CPU's (in this case, two i7-2600k CPU's), will the one with a lower stock voltage under load at stock speeds MOST LIKELY be the better overclocker?
