So I'm staying at a relatively crappy hotel in SF tomorrow night for a party and will be attending the taping of Conan O'Brien on Tuesday afternoon. I plan on bringing my photography gear with me but it won't be allowed into the taping so I'd need to keep it somewhere for the afternoon. The hotel said they can hold luggage for 'a few hours after checkout' at most but i'm not sure how safe i'd feel leaving it in their care - especially since it'd be well over $2k worth of gear and it's only a 2.5 star place to begin with.
Can anyone think of any other alternatives? I'd really like to bring it but if I can't find a solution I'd rather not risk losing it and I'll just leave it at home.
