ideas on building my sound system

I have a really nice unpowered sub and a crown amp that feed it. I have all my other speakers but am looking for the best also least expensive way to bring that sub and amp into the mix. Im unsure on the components I would need in order to do this. Im guessing a receiver with a sub out connection? possibly an equalizer or crossover?


Any thoughts would be helpful? I would like to stay sub $400
