Ideas for next Star Trek series? How about 'The Adventures of Captain Kruge'!

If it were up to me I'd create a series about the crew of a small Klingon bird-of-prey. They would go on covert ops missions against the Federation and Romulans, assassinate people, pave the way for less advanced worlds to be conquered, and generally do everything that Federation crews wouldn't.

Lots of ass kicking. No moralizing.

It would last 1 season and at the end the ship would be destroyed in a battle with loss of all hands 😀

I think it should stay dead for sometime. Probably 5 years. I think there has been too much Star Trek, and I doubt there is anyone out there with a good idea to make more of it. It's a demand problem, one that will be solved with time.

Screw the Klingons. Lets do a show about the Vulcan Science vessel. They'll be all nerdy, emotionless, and logical. Using Logic to solve all their troubles and generally do everything that Klingon crews couldn't.

Lots of pinching. No emotions.

Dibs on pinching T'Pol, or whatever her name is. 😛

What they should have done is instead of going back to earlier times, they should have jumped ahead a few more centuries and called it "Star Trek: The Advanced Generation". It would be the start of the new Time laws because all ships would be equipped with time drives. The borg collective would be extinct, but the borg cooperative (from Voyager series) would be expanded and have an alliance with the Federation. The Klingons would have become a more peaceful race aiding in defending allies, the Romulans would have split into two factions, one following the Vulcan way and the other forming an Alliance with the Cardasians and relocating to Cardasia, the Ferenghai would have shifted away from the rules of acquisition to the rules of technological progression putting them into a new era of advanced technology and science...

And what is the 1 quadrant we haven't visited yet? That would be the 1 we'd be exploring.

heheh i'm reminded of that episode with T'Pol and the quarantine chamber with all the skimpy clothing and gel rubbing.

Exactly 😀

They would bungle every mission, kill more people than necessary, either through carelessness or excessive use of force, and would be notorious.

Klingons suck at covert ops. They should make a series about the Romulan intelligence service.

I bet me and my friend could ressurect star trek. we created a RPG game for it and have played it for 7 years. We have enough stuff to make about 20 years worth of star trek, and it is all better than enterprise or voyager.

<--is a geek.
